SYS Bio

The Sydney Sixers are popularly known as the winners of the inaugural edition of the Big Bash League in 2012, when they beat Perth Scorchers to take the title. The Sixers represent Eastern Sydney and their home ground is the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). The pink colour of the team’s jersey is of great significance as it is related to the McGrath Foundation. As a result of winning their domestic T20 title, the Sixers were drafted into the Champions League T20 to be held in South Africa that year.
