LEI Bio

Leicestershire County Cricket Club is one of the 18 major county clubs that constitutes the English and Welsh national cricket structure. It represents the historic ground of Leicestershire. The club is based at Grace Road, Leicester and its limited-overs side is called Leicestershire Foxes.

The Foxes have performed consistently over the years in Twenty20 cricket and have three domestic T20 titles to their name, the latest one coming in the year 2011. With an able captain in Matthew Hoggard, the team pulled off a stunner in the semi-finals, beating Lancashire in the Super Over. They then defeated Somerset in the finals, thereby progressing to play in the Champions League T20, held in India.
