Profile

Stuart Binny is the son of former Indian all-rounder Roger Binny. He is a first-class cricketer and a right-hand batsman. He made his debut for Karnataka in 2003-04 but could not maintain his place in the regular batting line-up. He considers himself as a limited overs specialist. His batting skills earned him a place in the Hyderabad outfit in the rebel league.

In 2010 Indian T20 League, he was bought by the Mumbai franchise but later, in 2011, he was signed by the Rajasthan team. After joining Rajasthan, slowly but surely his game improved. But it was the 2013 season that saw brilliant all-round performance by Binny by which he got a call-up in to the national side also. Although he played just 2 games, he was traveling with the team and would be very close to play more games for India in the near future. Rajasthan surprisingly retained him for the seventh season. 2014 Indian T20 League gives him the perfect opportunity to display his skills and convince the main men of his ability.
