A product of Hampshire cricket academy, Hamza Riazuddin is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. Riazuddin made his first-class debut against Somerset in May 2008 and had a decent outing having bowled a much disciplined spell. Later in the month he made his List A debut against Glamorgan. His best moment came when he scalped 3-15 against Sussex in the 2009 domestic T20 competition, and then roared with 12 tournament wickets in the 2011 Caribbean T20. The following year, he was part of Hampshire’s T20 side that took the domestic T20 title, beating Yorkshire by 10 runs. Eventually, he was named in the T20 squad for the Champions League T20 in South Africa.
