Debuting for Rawalpindi in 2004, he became one of the most stable performers in the domestic circuit, piling 500 plus runs each season. Raheem was the leading run-scorer in the 2011-12 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy with 1088 runs at an average of 54.40. After playing 75 first-class games, he was finally called up to Pakistan’s Test squad for their away series against Sri Lanka in 2012.
