Profile

Abu Nechim is a renowned bowler from Assam and has represented India at the U-19 level. He got into limelight post his six-wicket haul giving away 9 runs against Bangladesh in the U-19 Tri-Nation Tournament.

His speciality of consistently bowling at a pace of 140 kph made people draw parallel comparisons between him and Ajit Agarkar. He has mastered the art of swing bowling as he can nip the ball in both the ways paired with a good consistent pace. With an abundance of Twenty20 experience, he landed in the Mumbai camp in the IPL where he performed decently well. In 2014 though, Bangalore bought his services.
