Profile

Mandeep Singh is a right-handed top order batsman and has represented Punjab in the domestic circuit. He was one of the stars of the 2009 Under-19 tour to Australia where he scored a crackling 151.

His first-class debut came in 2010 in the Vijay Hazare Trophy where he played an impressive knock and got a half century. He was also part of the North Zone team that won the Deodhar Trophy in the same year. His efforts were recognized and he was handed over the vice-captaincy of the Indian Under-19 team in the World Cup at New Zealand.

He was picked by the Kolkata in initially in the Indian T20 League, but in 2011, Mandeep was signed by Mohali. A few good performances ensured that he stayed with the franchise when they bought him once again in the 2014 auction.
