Chadd Sayers has been promoted to a full contract with the Southern Redbacks following a stellar 2010-11 season during which he bagged an impressive 58 wickets and scored 303 runs. His promotion from a rookie was more than justified after his consistent performances for the team. For Chadd, cricket runs in the family with his father Dean and brother Aaron both having played for Southern Australia.
Chadd became the first Woodville player to win the prestigious Bradman medal for grade cricket. He was also a runner-up for two seasons in a row prior to winning the award.
