[FLASHBACK] When Matthew Hayden destroyed Zimbabwe
Matthew Hayden eased past Brian Lara's then record for the highest individual score in Test cricket with his 437-ball 380 against Zimbabwe at Perth on 10 October 2003. Hayden's magnificent and incredible knock had shots all around the wicket - cuts, straight drives and pulls - as he took a heavy toll on Zimbabwe's hapless bowlers. Australia went on to win the Test by an innings and 175 runs. Lara, however, reclaimed the record six months later with his 400* against England at Antigua.
