When Claire Taylor eclipsed Viv Richards
England Women's team player Claire Taylor did what had been thought almost impossible on August 14, 2006 when she eclipsed Viv Richards' record and smashed the second fastest one-day hundred at Lord's during her 151-ball 156*.
Former West Indies captain Clive Lloyd holds the record for the fastest one-day hundred at Lord's. Lloyd made a 85-ball 102 against Australia in the final of the 1975 World Cup.
Taylor was rewarded with an honours board at the home of cricket.
