Jerash – a touch of Latin and Greek in Jordan

LAKSHMI SHARATH visits the ruins of the ancient city of Greco-Roman city of Gerasa, also referred to as Antioch on the Golden River. Today, known as Jerash and located in modern-day Jordan, it is fringed by olive groves. Yet, she discovers, it’s still very Greek and Latin to her.
