James Anderson: A heavy cross to bear
England's pace spearhead James Anderson was born on 30 July 1982 at Burnley, Lancashire.
Anderson burst on to the international scene in the 2002-03 season, but after a dream start to his England career, he found himself out of the team as he lost his form. His comeback started in 2006, and in 2008, Anderson took up the mantle of England's spearhead; and he hasn't looked back since.
Anderson, who has cemented his place as one of England's best bowlers, passed Fred Trueman in England's all-time wicket-list during the first Ashes Test at Trent Bridge in June 2013.
Here's a look at Anderson in (mostly) his off-field avatar in this collection. [TAG:CYCSPL]
