2000, June 3, Dhaka — India received a hammering. Mohammad Yousuf (then Youhanna) struck a six off the last ball of Pakistan's innings to complete a hundred, taking apart India's inexperienced pacers Thiru Kumaran and Amit Bhandari. The target of 296 was beyond this Indian squad. Ajay Jadeja's 93 prolonged the Indian innings to 251, but the contest had ended when Abdul Razzaq (4-29) had reduced India to 75-4. The win put Pakistan in the final, where they won the Asia Cup for the only time. [Score] less
