Guwahati: By his own admission Unmukt Chand's unbeaten 129-run partnership with "big brother" Yuvraj Singh, during North Zone's Duleep Trophy semi-final match against Central, will remain as one of the most "enjoyable" innings of his fledgling career.
"I enjoyed batting with Yuvi paaji. It was a good wicket to bat on and the target was not very high. So, I played my natural game," he added.
Asked if he felt any pressure after Praveen Kumar dismissed two North batsmen quickly, he said: "No I didn't panic… We were never under any pressure. I knew that one good partnership will be enough for us. And Yuvraj guided me."
Captain Gautam Gambhir said his team was not under any pressure after the bowlers did the job in the morning."We were not under any kind pressure. Half the job was done for us by restricting Central to a modest total," Gambhir said.
"But, it was good match to win. Now, we can look forward to summit clash," he added.
