Washington, June 19 (ANI): Facebook employees have given bizarre answers to a question posted by a question-and-answer website Quora.
Quora created, edited and organized by its community of users, had asked a question 'worst thing about working at Facebook' to which the social media giant's employees gave varied and interesting answers.
The responses included praise for the free food and drinks prepared by renowned chefs, the negatives of having an 'on call duty', few meetings, over involvement of CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and lack of new ideas.
One of the anonymous respondents said that the 200 billion dollar company had a dismal public offering that left many employees feeling totally helpless as they saw the value of their stock collapse.
Another respondent said that the innovations at Facebook presentations lack 'wow factor' and the congested workplace is 'awful' having picnic style tables with people sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with 6 inches of separation and zero privacy.
Zuckerberg's over involvement in product building has been slammed by a couple of respondents who said that his job is to fix stock price 'externally' and not 'build stuff'.
An anonymous respondent who reportedly interned at Facebook said that the team completely lacks focus and there is ineffective management.
'Be yourself at work' philosophy leads to some 'uncomfortable' situations at work where the unofficial sport of the company is the 'beer pong' and the employees are expected to drink with their co-workers which leads to a lot of peer pressure. (ANI)
