London, Aug 19 (ANI): Australian all-rounder Shane Watson has said that he believes he would benefit from the injury-enforced absence of England bowler Tim Bresnan, in his attempts to regain his batting form in this week's fifth Ashes Test.
According to The Guardian, Watson revealed that Bresnan has been the one who has given him the most problems with the angle from which he bowls, adding that he bowled nicely throughout the series and did a great job for England.
The all-rounder said that fortunately for him Bresnan was not going to be playing.
Watson also confirmed he expects to be fit to bowl at The Oval, despite not bowling against the Lions to protect a long-standing groin injury, the report said. (ANI)
