With Manan Vohra firing away, not many thought that Sunrisers Hyderabad would manage to defend their total of 159/6 against Kings XI Punjab in an Indian Premier League match on Monday.
Punjab needed just 18 from the last three overs and 16 from last two, and that's when Bhuvneshwar responded to his captain's call by having Vohra (95 off 50) trapped in front with KXIP still some way off the target.
Kings XI Punjab could not recover from that and were eventually bowled out for 154 in 19.4 overs.
Bhuvi starred with the ball, getting five wickets for 19 runs in four overs to keep Punjab at bay as Hyderabad managed to end a two-match losing run at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.
After the massive haul, Bhuvi is now sitting on top of the IPL10 bowlers rankings with a total of 15 wickets, six ahead of teammate Rashid Khan.
