Healy attacked Wade on radio earlier this week, describing his wicketkeeping as inappropriate for the Test team. He lashed the Victorian gloveman's basics as unacceptable and declared he is a liability to the team, reports News.com.au.
Warner fired back, saying Healy should know better. He said Healy should have gone to Wade "with a few tips rather than coming out in the papers (with that)".
Warner said Wade is judged too harshly and believes his best cricket is ahead of him.
He defended Wade saying his glovework has been good. It is hard because if he misses one ball, he is the only guy who can be blamed for that and that's the hardest thing about wicketkeeping, he added.
The left-handed opener said he has no doubts that Wade is a Test-standard keeper.
According to Warner, Wade is doing a fantastic job. (ANI)
