Kings XI Punjab may have finished at the bottom of the table last season, but the franchise’s head of cricket operations Virender Sehwag has promise that his team will play “aggressive cricket” and improve its performance in IPL 10.
Sehwag said the additions made to the team’s lie-up and an improvement in the players’ form could help the team perform better in season 10, which begins on Wednesday.
He added that he was glad his former India teammate Ishant Sharma had joined the side. Kings XI picked up the pacer, who had gone unsold in the auction, for his base price of Rs 2 crore just a day before the start of IPL 10.
