We are into the 10th year of Indian Premier League (IPL); it has been 10 years for Mumbai Indians (MI) as well. One of the most successful franchises in India’s most celebrated domestic T20 league, MI recently celebrated the journey in style. The members of the squad as well as the support staff were seen taking part in a fun dance. A video shared by MI on their official Twitter handle and Facebook page showed skipper Rohit Sharma shake his legs with all his teammates to the catchy beats of the song Tonight’s gonna be a good, good night by Black Eyes Peas. While cricketers like Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya are already known for their fun-loving nature, the video captures the likes of Mitchell Johnson, Parthiv Patel and Jasprit Bumrah — who do not come across as ‘hep’ — in their funniest avatar. The MI tweet read: “‘Tonight’s gonna be a good night!’ Watch our boys bust a few moves in this special music video!” In the video, Rohit takes the lead while the rest of the team and support staff is seen flaunting different funny props, like Shane Bond wearing bunny ears or Parthiv donning a pirate hat. Johnson was spotted dancing with Mitchell McClenaghan with roses tucked behind both ears. Here is the full video:

Mumbai Indians started off their IPL 10 campaign with a defeat against Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) but made a strong comeback, beating Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their next game at home. Young Nitish Rana scored a brilliant 50 in 29 balls, contributing majorly towards the victory while Krunal Pandya had 3 for 24.
