Victoria Pendleton to hop back in the saddle for 'Strictly' show at Wembley

London, Nov 17 (ANI): Victoria Pendleton will take her bike riding skills to new heights on Saturday's episode of 'Strictly Come Dancing.'

For this week's theme, Dancing Through the Decades, viewers will see the British cycling star back in the saddle, as she is suspended by wires while she paddles through the air, the Daily Mail reported.

The 32-year-old retired Olympic champion is set to take to the ballroom atop a BMX while wearing a red, white and blue outfit when the BBC show heads to Wembley Arena.

Recreating the famous scene from Steven Spielberg's stunning masterpiece, 'ET - The Extra Terrestrial,' Pendleton's arrival on set is sure to draw awes from the audience.

Alongside her professional partner Brendan Cole, Pendleton will perform a Paso Doble to Queen's hit 'Bicycle Race.'

But she will not be the only celebrity showcasing her athletic talents, as silver medallist Louis Smith will be bringing his skills to the dancefloor.

Smith, 23, who has already incorporated the splits, a one-armed handstand and a flip in his past performances, will be adding more of his gymnastic background to this week's show.

Stepping off the dancefloor momentarily, Kimberley Walsh and her band Girls Aloud are to perform their Children In Need single Something New for the first time on television since regrouping.

Australian-born goddess Kylie Mingoue will have everyone on their feet when she takes to the spotlight to sing her 80s hit 'The Locomotion.'

For this year's Wembley show a Royal Marines band of 50 people have been drafted in, as have a number of dancers - some who will even be on roller skates. (ANI)
