US beauty queen arrested for bomb possession

New York, August 11 (ANI): Utah beauty queen, Kendra McKenzie Gill has been charged with bomb possession and now faces a possibility of 15 years in prison, it has been revealed.

The 18-year-old beauty queen was arrested on August 3, along with three friends for allegedly tossing plastic bottles filled with caustic chemicals at people they knew in the Salt Lake City area of Utah, the New York Daily News reported.

One of the teens described the mayhem as a prank which didn't injure anyone, but prosecutor Blake Nakamura said that all four face the same set of four felony charges.

Nakamura said that they don't really understand a clear reason for deviant behavior and the reason they charged them was that they possessed explosives.

He added that the police is alleging that the teens were throwing the homemade explosives near homes and at people, and therefore, had the potential to cause a great deal of harm. (ANI)
