Kuldeep Yadav is replacing skipper Virat Kohli in the India XI for the fourth and final Test in Dharamsala.
It is also his Test debut.
A lot on the line, and the 22-year-old from Kanpur delivered on every count. Three wickets including the big one of David Warner on 56 and Kuldeep Yadav has earned himself a few fans.
Like the great Sachin Tendulkar.
I am impressed with @imkuldeep18's variations and the way he has started. Keep going strong, this can be your match to shine.— sachin tendulkar (@sachin_rt) March 25, 2017
This has been a magnificent spell of bowling from the young man Kuldeep— Michael Clarke (@MClarke23) March 25, 2017
Kuldeep Yadav's wrong `un turns out right for his team. Handscomb sent packing. Fine comeback by India. Smith is the big fish they want now— Cricketwallah (@cricketwallah) March 25, 2017
Kuldeep Yadav is not, in fact, the first chinaman bowler to play for India. That honour went to Preeti Dimri in 2006. #INDvsAUS— Anand Vasu (@anandvasu) March 25, 2017
Another googly to Wade....c'mon Kuldeep. Kudos to Rahane for starting with him post Lunch...and to the team for picking him ahead of Jayant!— Aakash Chopra (@cricketaakash) March 25, 2017
