Tiwary injured yet again

Knee trouble likely to keep him out of Zimbabwe tour.

OLKATA: West Bengal and India batsman Manoj Tiwary has been ruled out of action for at least four months after he injured his knee during practice at the Kalighat cricket club on Wednesday.

Tiwary is likely to miss India’s tour to Zimbabwe that will begin from from July 24.
The 27-year-old will instead be flying to England to consult knee specialist and orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Andrew Williams, who has also treated Cheteshwar Pujara for a similar ailment.
Known to be especially injury-prone, Tiwary has been felled by several injuries in the last year. He crocked his shoulder during the Vijay Hazare Trophy, strained his back in the Ranji Trophy and hurt his right hand during the Indian Premier League.
Tiwary's repeated health concerns, added to his extended time on India's bench, have led the cricketer to be labelled as chronically unlucky.
