Abuja, Feb 10 (IANS) Three Asian doctors - believed to be Chinese or South Korean nationals - have been killed by unidentified attackers in Nigeria, Xinhua reported Sunday.
The attack took place in the northeastern city of Potiskum, police said.
While police said the gunmen scaled a wall around a building and murdered the three people, another security source said they stormed the premises through the back door.
A resident said the attackers also ransacked the house.
Potiskum has recently come under attacks following an uprising in the northeastern city of Maiduguri in 2009. Gunmen and bombers have attacked state institutions including prisons, police stations and schools, killing more than 1,500 people.
