London, August 19 (ANI): A new research has revealed that there are basically three types of parents.
The new research from Capri-Sun and childcare expert Denise Robertson shows that the three distinct types of parent in 2013 are:
The first type of parent is The Terrier, this type takes up a quarter of parents, who are interested in squeezing in as much time with their kids as possible and try to get involved in everything they do, the Daily Express reported.
For some parents, this happens simply as they want to keep their kids entertained. Almost 50 percent parents worry about their child getting bored at some point during the holidays.
Then there are Lion Kings, about ten percent parents agree with this philosophy and take a hands off approach to childcare, leaving their kids to their own devices.
About 41 percent parents confess that looking after children during the summer holidays can be tiresome and giving them time to play on their own, or with pals, not only gives them time to rest, but also helps improve their creativity.
And the last type of parenting is the Penguin Parenting, the holiday in summer can be a tricky balancing act for busy parents with 34 percent parents struggling to get time off work, while more than 20 percent finding childcare difficult.
25 percent parents rely on family and pals, only 11 percent trust their neighbours to act as their kids' guardians while a whopping 57 percent turn to the ever-reliable grandparents for childcare. (ANI)
