Johannesburg, Oct 27 (ANI): Liverpool moved up to second place in the Premier League with a 4-1 win over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday at Anfield, boosted by a hat-trick from controversial striker Luis Suarez.
Suarez's fourth hat-trick for Liverpool, which was his first at Anfield, lifted the team above Chelsea into second place and within two points of leaders Arsenal, with the Uruguay forward striking twice early in the first half at Anfield and completing his treble soon after half-time.
According to Sport24, however, the goal of the day was scored by Suarez's teammate Daniel Sturridge, who shot an impressive chipped strike in the 77th minute after Albion's James Morrison had reduced the deficit from the penalty spot in the 66th minute.
Suarez has scored 36 goals in his last 46 matches and 57 in 101 Liverpool appearances overall, the report added. (ANI)
