Sydney, June 16 (ANI): Stephanie Rice, who was once a party-loving princess, seems to have matured rapidly and has become a socially conscious and responsible person, who is devoted towards her projects.
The 24-year-old ace swimmer told the Sydney Morning Herald that she is going on 45.
In reference to her early clubbing days, she said that she didn't care about it anymore, asserting that she doesn't go out, and doesn't really like socialising because of the risks involved associated.
The former Olympian said that she doesn't want to risk people and paparazzi clicking her pictures.
She explained that she is now focussing on her kids' swimwear brand, her 'Today' show role and my DVDs.
Rice also credited her new friends for having helped her turn her life around.
She added that she has found a small group, who tend to be a lot older than other people of the same age group. (ANI)
