'Special One' Mourinho drops strong hints about return to 'much-loved' PL

London, Jan.15 (ANI): Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has claimed he is still in love with English football, dropping strong hints about a return to the Premier League in near future.

Mourinho, who is often touted as a potential successor to Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United, said that there is no better place for football than England, which has the real passion for football.

Mourinho said that he knows what the English Football Association means to the world of football.

The former Chelsea boss also revealed how it felt when he had to go up the Wembley stairs to get the FA Cup in 2007, hinting strongly about an England return, the Daily Mirror reports.

Nicknamed the 'Special One', Mourinho kept dangling Tottenham Hotspurs, Manchester City and even his former employers at Stamford Bridge last year as he forced the Real hierarchy to back him in the wake of their title triumph over Barcelona.

Mourinho seemed relaxed after a tiring stint of constant battles with the Madrid dressing room and the Bernabeu hierarchy this season.

Reminiscing on his days as an English coach, Mourinho said that he doesn't have any regrets about leaving England since he was lucky enough to enjoy success in Italy and Spain.

However, it seems that clubs like Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich may also offer Mourinho a lucrative challenge. (ANI)
