Soon, you'll be able to print alien life forms on Earth

London, October 8 (ANI): Scientist has claimed that humans will have the ability to "print" simple alien life forms with the help of a biological version of a 3D printer.

Craig Venter, who is a DNA expert, said that robots could be sent into the space to gather the DNA of alien organisms, which could later be brought back to Earth, the Daily Star reported.

Venter and his team had created the world's first artificially-made life form in 2010.

The 66-year-old scientist believes that the ability of computers to help produce cells "is going to make way for extraordinary possibilities."

Venter also believes that the 'printing' process can be reversed to print off humans in outer space.

The scientist has already aired the details of his own genetic material outside Earth. (ANI)
