Scott 'incredibly satisfied' at being first Australian to win US Masters

Sydney, Apr 18 (ANI): Adam Scott, who is Australia's new hero after capturing the green jacket at the US Masters, has said that he is 'incredibly satisfied' to be the only Australian to win at the tournament as he had focused all his energy towards being a being a major champion.

Stating that he was still trying to digest the fact that he had won, Scott said that although he was nervous before starting his game, he was also determined to win the Masters especially after the Open Championship last year where he had close to winning, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.

Admitting that he was inspired by the support of an entire nation, especially in the playoff, Scott said that it was important because no other Australian had ever won the Masters before.

Scott further said that he was privileged to be the one winning the tournament among the other three Australians playing at the Masters. (ANI)
