London, Aug 27 (ANI): The English media has claimed that Australian World No.2 Adam Scott has a legitimate claim for golfer of the year over American Tiger Woods.
According to The Guardian, Woods's problems at Oak Hill, added to Adam Scott's win at the Barclays Championship on Sunday, ensure there is now a valid discussion to be had over golf's man of 2013.
Scott won the Masters as Woods finished in a tie for fourth, the report said.
Scott has played in 13 PGA Tour events this year, winning 4.6 million dollars and making every single cut and from the same amount of victories; Woods has claimed more than 8 million dollars, a figure that illustrates the value of victories, the report added. (ANI)
