India‘s cricketing legend and one of game’s modern greats, Sachin Tendulkar has retired from the game for quite some time now. But he has been doing a number of off-field activities; with the latest one being his foray into singing career. He could not have found a betteer way to do it, as he teamed up with India’s charismatic singer Sonu Nigam for a cricket mash-up song named ‘Nacho Nacho Cricket’. With hardly anyone knowing about Sachin’s singing talent, everyone is waiting impatiently to hear Sachin’s track, and most importantly how good he sings. His track, along with Sonu, was released during the Indian Idol season 9 grand finale. Tendulkar a very good singer: Sonu Nigam
“Although I am fond of music I never thought I will sing. They all ganged up and finally got me to sing. Sonu made me comfortable in the studio and told me to take the first strike. I have thanked all the cricketers with whom I have played in the six World Cups. I have thanked all the cricketers with whom I have played in the six World Cups. The love for music was always there. Music helped me control my emotions before going to bat, it helped me calm down after the innings.” said Tendulkar as reported by pressks.com.
Earlier, singer Sonu Nigam, who has collaborated with Tendulkar for the iconic cricketer’s debut track “Cricket waali beat”, had said he is a very good singer. The song had its world TV premiere on the grand finale of singing TV reality show “Indian Idol 9″ on Sunday night on Sony Entertainment Television.
