London, Sept 21 (ANI): Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has said that the Manchester derby is not the biggest game of the season for the club, and even ranked meetings with Liverpool higher as he prepared for the trip to the Etihad.
According to the Mirror, United took revenge for City snatching the Premier League crown from them on goal difference in 2012 by strolling to the title by an 11-point margin last season.
Rooney said that Manchester City has had success recently but United and Liverpool was still the biggest game.
Rooney has an impressive record against City, with five goals in his last six games against them, the report said.
He admitted that he is relishing the chance to continue that run in the latest clash between the local rivals, the report added. (ANI)
