Rasool gets India A spot

Calcutta: Promising Jammu and Kashmir all-rounder Parvez Rasool was rewarded for his impressive show in this season's Ranji Trophy as he clinched a berth in the 14-member India A squad for the practice game against England in Delhi on January 6, said a media release.

Being the first cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir to get a call in the India A squad, Rasool finished on top in both batting and bowling fronts for his state having scored 594 runs that included two centuries, apart from taking 33 wickets.
