Calcutta: Bengal coach Woorkeri Raman is pleased with the performance of his boys against Rajasthan.
"The number of points don't matter… What is important is how each session pans out. The match would have been interesting if the full sessions could have been played on all the days. It could have then gone either way," Raman said.
He didn't wish to highlight any player's individual performance. "I don't wish to look at any individual… I've always believed in team game. All the players have delivered and that's important," he said.
He was all praise for the Eden wicket. 'It's a good wicket… Hopefully, we'll get to play on such tracks more often… Bengal cricket will improve from such tracks."
Meanwhile, Gitimoy Basu has been added to the squad in place of Arindam Ghosh for the tie against Punjab in Mohali from Friday.
