Nagpur, July 6 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Rajnath Singh is scheduled to meet senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leaders here on Saturday.
Singh's meeting with the RSS leaders will take place a day after BJP veteran Lal Krishna Advani met the Sangh leaders at the RSS Headquarters here and held a good discussion with party chief Mohan Bhagwat and general secretary Bhayyaji Joshi.
Advani after the meeting yesterday told mediapersons that his Nagpur Yatra will be very helpful for the BJP and Indian polity.
"My political commitment is for the BJP but my ideological family has always been the Sangh Parivar. If the RSS had not been there, there would have been no Jan Sangh or the BJP," he added.
Advani, who had resigned from all party posts after Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi was appointed the chief of party's poll panel for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, was forced to do a U-turn after Bhagwat stepped in and withdrew his resignation on June 11. (ANI)
