London, May 24 (ANI): Professor Stephen Hawking has been turned into a comic book hero for an illustrated series about his life.
According to the comic book's writers, 'Stephen Hawking: Riddles of Time and Space' would provide a glimpse into "the man, the myth and the legend."
The comic book series by Bluewater Productions is expected to cover his college days, his work as a researcher at the University of Cambridge and some of his key discoveries, Sky News reported.
Artist Zach Bassett said that the very concept of making an engaging comic book where the protagonist is immobile is quite a tall order.
He said that the key for them to keep the series exciting was being able to get inside Hawkins' mind and show some of his most abstract concepts in a visual and dynamic way.
Bassett said that Hawking, who suffers from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a form of motor neurone disease that attacks the nerves controlling voluntary movement, truly is a living legend.
Writers Michael Lent and Brian McCarthy said in a statement that the most surprising thing about Hawking is his razor wire wit and how he still maintains a child's delight in discovery and credits his disability for allowing him to focus his mind. (ANI)
