Imphal, Feb. 13: Manipur Police Sports Club today emerged champions in the 4th All Manipur Football Association Senior Women Football League for B.M. Singh Trophy at Khurai Thongkhong football ground, by logging 10 points.

In the last league round match today, Manipur Police were held to a goalless draw by Eastern Sporting Union. The police team clinched the title by winning three matches out of four and drawing the last match today.

Though the league matches will end tomorrow, Eastern Sporting finished second as they secured seven points from three games.

In the last match tomorrow, Youth Welfare Club and Kangchup Road Young Physiques and Sports Association will clash.

Hockey: South East Youth Organisation defeated Youth Club Lairikyengbam Leikai 4-2 in the under-14 boys state-level hockey tournament at Khuman Lampak hockey stadium today. Kh. Bisheshore scored a hattrick for the winning side. In the second match, Charangpat Development Organisation thrashed Posterior Hockey Association Manipur by 10-3.

Polo: Khurai Polo Club defeated Kangchup Road Young Physiques and Sports Association by 7-1 in a match of the 28th N. Hazari and Dr N. Tombi State Polo Tournament at Mapal Kangjeibung today. In the second match, Manipur Police Sports Club (C) defeated Lamyanba Paakhang Polo Club by 6-4.
