Washington, July 21 (ANI): No foul play has been detected in the death of a woman who fell from a roller coaster at Six Flags Over Texas, based on an initial investigation by authorities.
According to CNN, Six Flags confirmed that a woman died on Friday while riding the Texas Giant roller coaster, but did not provide further details.
The ride has been closed pending further investigation, the report said.
The Texas Giant was originally designed in 1990 as an all wooden roller coaster but was redesigned with a steel track and reopened in April 2011 to mark the theme park's 50th anniversary, with its roller coaster having the highest point of 153 feet and a drop of 147 feet, the report added. (ANI)
