New Delhi, June 28 (ANI): Petrol price has been hiked by Rs. 1.82 a litre, excluding VAT.
The new rate will come into effect from Friday midnight.
This is the third increase in petrol price rates in June. The oil firms had from June 15 hiked prices by Rs. 2, excluding VAT; and before that 75 paise from June 1 onwards.
The consumers will now have to pay Rs. 68.58 for a litre in Delhi, Rs. 71.71 in Chennai, Rs. 76.90 paise in Mumbai and Rs. 76.10 in Kolkata. (ANI)
