Petrol price cut by Rs. 2 per litre

New Delhi, Mar. 15 (ANI): The price of petrol was on Friday cut by Rs. 2 per litre, excluding local taxes.

The new rates will come into effect from midnight tonight.

The petrol price was hiked by Rs. 1.50 per litre on February 16 and by a further Rs. 1.40 per litre on March 2.

Petrol in Delhi now costs Rs. 70.74 per litre, while in Mumbai it costs Rs. 77.66 per litre.

There will be no change in the rates of diesel. (ANI)
