On the other hand, opener Azhar Ali remained unbeaten till the end of day’s play at 81, including 7 fours along with skipper Misbah-ul-Haq. Two of those 3 wickets were scalped by leg spinner Devendra Bishoo and one by pacer Shannon Gabriel. During Pakistan’s batting, Shehzad was given out twice but both the times, the decision was changed because the bowler had overstepped and it was given no ball then.
As for the hosts, they had a frustrating Day Two. The issue of Shannon Gabriel and his no-balls hampered the hosts a lot. West Indies will have to find a quick solution to this issue before one more such error hurts them dearly. In addition to this, despite not getting wickets, West Indies restricted the flow of runs, not letting Pakistan score freely. West Indies bowlers displayed the intent of capitalising on the openings they received but they will also have to make sure of taking wickets and pouncing on every chance that comes in front of them.
