Johannesburg, Nov 2 (ANI): South Africa's joy at pulling of a sensational one-run win in the first ODI against Pakistan was short-lived after they were beaten by 66 runs by their rivals in the second day-night international in Dubai on Friday.
Veteran Pakistani leg-spinner Shahid Afridi and paceman Mohammad Irfan have shared six wickets, with Saeed Ajmal also sharing the bowling spoils at two, and their combined efforts led Pakistan to defend a low total of 209 to square the five-match series at 1-1.
According to Sport24, South Africa was bowled out for 143 in 40.4 overs with Ryan McLaren top-scoring with 29 not out.
The report mentioned that Afridi hit four boundaries off 20 balls while Wahab Riaz hit two sixes in his 18 to help Pakistan cross the 200-mark, the report added. (ANI)
