Pak PM demands counter-terrorism strategy draft by Aug. 13

Islamabad, Aug. 9 (ANI): The Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has reportedly directed the interior minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan to present the final draft of a counter-terrorism strategy on August 13.

According to the Dawn, Sharif discussed the country's law and order situation with Khan in light of the terrorist attacks in Quetta in which top police officials and scores of others lost their lives.

Sharif condemned the killing of innocent people and said that their blood would not go in vain and that the perpetrators of the blast would be brought to justice at all costs.

He saluted the courage of law enforcement agencies across the country and asked the interior minister to ensure that all possible help is extended to the families of the deceased and injured, the report added. (ANI)
