Oz speedster Perry hoping to be at 'full pace' ahead of women's Ashes

Sydney, Aug 2 (ANI): Australian cricketer Ellyse Perry is expecting to be at full swing for the women's Ashes tour after undergoing an off-season ankle surgery.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, one of the fastest bowlers in the women's game, Perry anticipated she would be able to bowl at her quickest from the beginning of the tour.

Vice-captain and veteran batter Alex Blackwell said she was happy Perry was again 100 per cent.

The 22-year-old had produced a match-tilting spell of 3-19 in the final against the West Indies at the World Cup in India in February, the report said. (ANI)
