Melbourne, July 12 (ANI): Australian DJ Mel Greig declined offers by radio station 2DayFM to return to work after the royal prank call resulted in the death of Indian nurse Jacintha Saldanha.
According to Sydney Confidential, Southern Cross Austereo executives had sought a new job for Greig on the network for six months, News.com.au reported.
The radio station offered her jobs on and off air in February and in production in March.
She was repeatedly asked by the station as to what she would like to do and whether she would like to work in Sydney or her home town, Adelaide.
The sources also said that Greig declined attempts to get her back in the job in which she had been a star player, who was worthy of a plumb role on 'Hot30 Countdown' show.
Greig's lawyers, Slater and Gordon have reportedly filed a Fair Work complaint claiming that her employer had failed to provide a safe workplace. (ANI)
