'Outright win is possible'

Calcutta: Pacer Sourav Sarkar thinks an outright win is possible for Bengal provided the weather holds true.

"It's unfortunate that we lost some quick wickets in the afternoon… But anything is still possible… A lead of around 300 would be a good score. An outright win is possible… We'll give that extra effort," Sarkar, who took four wickets, said.

Despite being the most successful Bengal bowler, he wasn't satisfied. "I had a few more things in mind… The wicket was good and there was considerable carry."

He was clear about Bengal's plans on Monday. "We will look to attack initially…

"The course of action thereafter will be decided according to the situation… (Hrishikesh) Kanitkar and (Robin) Bisht's wickets will be important in the second innings."

The pacer's bowling came in for much praise even from the Rajasthan camp as well. "

Bengal have an excellent bowling attack… Sarkar's spell this morning was brilliant… Veer Pratap is quick… It will be a real challenge facing up to them," said Bisht.
