Optimist Hafeez not disturbed over prolonged loss of form

Karachi, May 6 (ANI): Vice captain of Pakistan national cricket team Mohammed Hafeez is not worried that his poor batting form has not served the team too well in the recent past, ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy.

Hafeez has only managed to secure 43 runs in six test innings and 118 in five One-Day Internationals during the South Africa tour, the Express Tribune reports.

According to the report, the raising team expectations from the all-rounder have been thwarted, as Hafeez's below-the-mark batting performances have increased doubts and anxiety in the team.

Hafeez, however, is neither anxious nor perturbed and believes that failing in a single series is not a matter of huge concern.

Hafeez is optimistic that the team will yield good results at next month's ICC Champions Trophy. (ANI)
