Once-banned body artist returns to paint live nudes in public in Times Square

New York, July 12 (ANI): A body artist, who was banned in 2011 for using nude models instead of a canvas, returned to NYC's Times Square on Wednesday, to carry out his provocative art in broad daylight.

Andy Golub revealed to the New York Post that he is a strong advocate of public art, while he was setting up his shop on West 46th Street and Broadway with two naked male and female models, in front of crowded American Eagle Outfitters flagship store, at around noon.

Golub said that no real law is being broken, claiming that he's really glad that the city has lifted a moratorium that permitted him to follow his passion in public only after sunset.

Golub asserted that it's not really about winning a battle on legality, but it's about the opportunity to use public streets.

He added that he tries not to get too political, as the art is the message. (ANI)
